MICHAEL T. HARTNEY, ESQ.
Founder - Corday & Hartney, PLC

From 1984 to 1997, Michael practiced with a boutique business law firm in downtown San Diego where he concentrated on business, real estate and construction claim matters, and related litigation for a wide range of clients. Over his career, he has tried nearly 100 cases in state and federal courts. Michael co-founded Corday & Hartney, PLC in 1997 and now devotes his practice exclusively to advising individuals, small and medium sized businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals in corporate & business law and health care law matters.

Michael takes a practical approach in helping resolve his clients’ issues and problems, knowing that focusing on the important issues and getting the job done efficiently results in high client satisfaction.

Raised in Chicago and Connecticut, Michael has lived in San Diego since 1981. He keeps active in community service and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Elizabeth Hospice, a non-profit hospice located in Escondido. Outside his practice and community service Michael tries, not necessarily successfully, to find enough time to indulge his other passions including cycling, golf and skiing.
